  • Climate

Cody and the Greater Yellowstone region has a dry, moderate climate. If you plan to visit between April and October, it can get warm during the day and cold in the evenings. Dressing in light layers is advisable even for midsummer visitors. Because winters in Wyoming can be quite cold and windy, warm clothing is recommended from November through March. Comfortable walking shoes are a must at all times. More information.
