Hours and Location

Research visits from the general public to use manuscripts, photographs, or rare books must be arranged in advance. Appointments to conduct research may be made by contacting the Librarian.

The McCracken Research Library is located on the lower level of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. If you are visiting the Historical Center to utilize the McCracken Research Library, please stop at the front Security Desk to confirm your appointment.

HOURS for RESEARCH APPOINTMENTS

May through October: 
Monday - Friday:  8:00 a.m. - noon; 1:00 - 4:45 p.m.

November through March: 
Tuesday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. - noon; 1:00 p.m.- 4:45 p.m.
