On May 19, 2012, visitors will encounter an American icon, William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, in an entirely new way. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center will proudly open a brand “new” Buffalo Bill Museum after a complete renovation and redesign. Through authentic artifacts, state-of-the-art exhibits, engaging inter-actives, and a compelling story about the life and legacy of William F. Cody, the “new” Buffalo Bill Museum will truly become a museum of the twenty-first century.
Do you hail from the Bighorn Basin? Former Senator Al Simpson, chair of our Board of Trustees, and Anne Hayes, chair of the reinstallation campaign committee, have a special video message for you. Trustee Naoma Tate has offered a challenge grant and will match donations from residents of the Bighorn Basin, dollar for dollar. Be a part of this historic occasion!
