International Museum Day

May 18, 2008
12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Museum - an institution in the service of society and of its development

On or around the 18th of May, International Museum Day has been celebrated all over the world since 1977. This year's theme is "Museums as Agents of Social Change and Development."

To celebrate International Museum Day and the 125th anniversary of the first Buffalo Bill's Wild West performance in May 1883, the Buffalo Bill Historical Center proudly presents show music by the Buffalo Bill Band, under the direction of Ken Boggio. Noon until 2 p.m. in the Cody Firearms Breezeway.

Also enjoy spotlight talks on "Buffalo Bill's Wild West" by Irene Schultz @ noon, 2 and 4 p.m. in the Buffalo Bill Museum
