For the last twenty-six years - the oldest event of its kind in the United States - guests always enjoy a combination of cowboy songs, poetry, scholarship, and gear making as it all comes together for one exciting weekend - April 16-19, 2009.

The entire Historical Center is going to be brimming with music, poetry, gear making, and scholarship throughout the entire Cowboy Songs weekend.

Highlight Events

School Programs
Wednesday and Thursday April 15 -16, 2008

Enjoy traditional cowboy music at its best as students attend performances by professional singers/songwriters. For grades 3-5.

Thursday Night Opening Reception – April 16
Buffalo Bill Historical Center – 4–7 p.m.

Live music, refreshments, and cash bar.
Open to the public.
