WILDLIFE RESEARCH BIBLIOGRAPHY PROJECT INTERN
Overview: Introduces the student to
wildlife research and how to compile, organize, and access an active archive of research articles.
The intern is based in the Draper Museum of Natural History, which focuses on the relationships between humans and nature in the Greater Yellowstone Area.
Level of Responsibility:
Reports to: Curatorial Assistant, Draper Museum of Natural History
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Acquire current research articles from various sources
· Organize articles for accessibility
· Catalog articles in a computerized database
· Occasionally answer questions and provide information to visitors in an informal setting
Additional Information:
· Training is provided
Qualifications:
· Enrollment in accredited college/university curriculum in any field of natural science, natural resource management, or interdisciplinary studies
· Genuine desire to conduct wildlife research and to communicate science and natural history to the public
