Educational Programming
Natural history programming extends far beyond the bricks
and mortar of exhibit galleries. In addition to on-site educational
programs, day-long and extended field experiences capitalize
on the natural setting that draws visitors and students from
around the world to this region.
Specific educational initiatives underway or being planned
by the Draper Museum of Natural History include:
Lunchtime Expedition Lecture Series
Lunchtime Expedition Lecture
Series featuring monthly public presentations covering
topics and disciplines represented by the Draper Museum of
Natural History.
Greater Yellowstone Museum Adventure
Greater
Yellowstone Museum Adventure presents the plants, animals,
and geology of the Greater Yellowstone region to elementary
school students through hands-on demonstrations, activities,
and programs.

History School Field Trips to the DMNH provide students
with additional information regarding the dynamic geological
processes and plant and animal adaptations and interactions
in the Greater Yellowstone region.

Research Expeditions Program whereby participants take part
